Can Wars Be „Good“?

No. Wars can never be good. Wars are always bad and entail numerous negative consequences for everyone involved, be that soldiers or civilians. Even if sometimes military intervention prevents worse things from happening (e.g. genocide). Then, war is the lesser one of two evils.
